Important!If the buyer breaks any of the points stated in my terms and conditions they will lose all the aforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, JessysArtJourney, and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit.
If you have a problem with any of these statements, then you must discuss with me prior to paying your commissioned piece.
general terms
Prices are subject to change based on requirements.
I have the right to deny any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.I will ask for a lot of references to try and create exactly what you imagine. Please be prepared to supply references for every piece of your artwork. You can send me a google drive folder, reference pictures, mood boards or character cards, etc.Reference images can include anywhere from pose, hairstyle, colors, notes/info about your character(s), height comparison, if you have more than one character, etc!
process & delivery
Commissions will start with us discussing your character. After discussion you will receive a quote and once the quote is approved you will receive an invoice. Payment is not required in full until the drawing is finished. Please read the Payment section for more info.You will receive a HQ photo with my watermark on it. If you want a version without my watermark on it, please let me know so we can discuss this further.

I will notify you when we are getting started. Once the commission has been started you will no longer be permitted to a refund. See the refunds and cancellation section for more details.
During the time I am working on your commission I will be in consistent communication with you.
Failure to stay in contact will result in late commission work. All steps are sent for approval and more.
payment
Only accepting € Euros through PayPal!The commission payments are divided in two parts:
The first 50% of our agreed upon price is required to be paid before I start on the commission.
When I am done with the artwork, the other 50% need to be paid for you to receive your HQ photo per E-Mail.note
I will send you the receipt to pay per PayPal myself. Please do not send me any payments yourself!
refund & cancellations
The buyer is not allowed a full refund once I have started working on the commissioned artwork.
If we stop midway due to an issue regarding the commissioned artwork, we can discuss a partial refund depending on what stage we are in the artwork.
If you cancel your order before I have started it, you will receive a full refund.If you are getting a refund do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you no problem.Important
If you request a PayPal chargeback back when a refund has been denied, you will lose all aforementioned rights to the commissioned artwork and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed artwork for you.
Furthermore, you will be blacklisted from commissioning me again!
revisions
If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, an additional fee will be charged to change this. The amount will depend on the change you want me to make. Minor changes will not have an extra fee.A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing - unless, of course a misunderstanding on my part has been made.
Another reason you will have full constant communication from myself is to prevent this from happening.A major change would be changing pose or an article of clothing and a minor change would be a color change.
copyright & usage
I, Jessy (the artist) , claim the rights to the produced drawing,
not the buyer.
Therefore I am allowed to use the artwork to:
- Promote myself with it everywhere
- Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
- Post it wherever I wantI will however, always ask permission when to post, so it aligns with any promotion the author plans for their book.The buyer is allowed to:
- Use the commissioned piece for personal use
(You can upload it on all your social media platforms, forums, etc. as long as it includes the image with my logo and credit (everytime you post it!)
- Print the artwork for personal use and claim the character as their own, but not the artwork itselfThe following is considered copyright infringement:
🚫Reproducing / using the copyrighted artwork commercially; means making any profit off of it in any way
🚫Claiming the artwork as your own
🚫Altering the artwork without my consent
🚫using the artwork for anything related to NFT’s
🚫Use for AI in all formsPlease read the Commercial Commissions section, if interested in owning the artwork for resale and review the rules for commercial commissions.
commercial fees
If you are interested in commissioning me to use the art for commercial purposes such as book covers, promotional art for games/stories, etc. please note I charge 1.5-2x the regular price.This does not give you the right to use for NFT’s or AI related artwork. I do not nor will I ever condone this with my artwork!
